仕入れたロスパンを丁寧に一枚一枚、限りなく薄くスライスするところからスタート。天候の変化やパンの状態を見極めながら、割れないように、ちぎれないように、曲がらないように・・・。極限まで薄くスライスされたパンはとっても繊細。ひとつづつ、手作業で丁寧にアクリルに閉じ込めました。 The process starts with the unsold bread we’ve procured, carefully slicing each piece as thinly as possible. We keep a close eye on changes in the weather and the state of the bread itself as we slice into it, making sure it doesn’t break, making sure it doesn’t tear, and making sure it doesn’t bend. This extremely thin slice of bread is remarkable in its delicacy. One at a time, these slices are then carefully sealed in acrylic by hand.
